Have you ever pictured yourself behind the wheel of a race car? You are heading into turn one, an off-camber 90-degree right-hander. You brake and downshift with perfect heel-and-toe, as you nail your apex using up all of the race track exiting the corner. You can feel your adrenaline pumping as you accelerate towards the next corner and a brand new challenge. If this sounds like fun to you, then you are in for a real treat!
Or maybe you just want to understand what your car is telling you when it nears its limits, and you want to experience this in a safe environment. Maybe you just want to be a better, safer, driver and you want to learn with the help of skilled professionals - but without any pressure whatsoever to perform like a race car driver. Well, you're still in for a real treat. Because that describes what's available at this fun and exciting driving event!
This high performance driving school is open to drivers of all skill levels, from the novice that just wants to be a safer driver to the weekend racer that wants to get faster. For maximum fun and safety, everyone will be grouped according to his or her comfort level and track experience.
Professional Instructors help you to combine classroom discussion and large amounts of behind the wheel seat time in your car. Elevate your street driving skills using advanced techniques to help you understand how your input affects the handling of your car as you negotiate the challenging and technical "Streets of Willow". Also, learn Vehicle Dynamics and controlled spins on the skid pad; as well as braking techniques, heel-and-toe downshifting and other advanced methods of performance driving!
Entry fee includes: High performance driving manual(yours to keep), a certificate of completion (nice to show as proof of qualification at other track events); classroom instruction(fun and informative!), individual ride-along instruction with experienced racers(a valuable benefit!), approximately 150 to 175 track miles per day(oh yeah!), liability/participant accident insurance, and the use of the driving school's helmets. They even provide driving suits(for those that wants to suit up)but you can wear your street clothes if you want - it's up to you!
This event always sells out. And class size is limited to 30 drivers.
