"Cat-Back” emissions legal and meets all California sound level requirements when used with the Racing Beat Power Pulse Muffler!
The Racing Beat Power Pulse Connecting Pipe is constructed with 2.375-inch OD (60mm), stainless steel tubing with and uses cast stainless-steel flanges for positive gas sealing.  It's solid construction is coupled with a built-in pre-silencer that has been tuned to provide Power Pulse Mufflers with an aggressive, deep exhaust note.

If you're after an aggressive sound that is still "civilized", the Power Pulse
Connecting Pipe is the one for you.  But if you don't care about "civilization"
and want a wild bark to go with that aggressive sound, then scroll down to

The Racing Beat Power Pulse Connecting Pipe comes complete with detailed installation instructions and a fresh exhaust gasket for the connection of the connecting pipe to the catalytic converter.

NOTE: Since the stock exhaust on the 1990 to 1997 Miata has a single-piece exhaust system that does not have a bolt-on flange for a separate muffler system, the Racing Beat Power Pulse Mufflers for 1990-97 applications must be combined with a connecting pipe such as this one.

   Heads Up Race Fans,
If you've got a 1999 to 2005, you don't need to get a new connecting pipe to be
able to install a new "axel-back" exhaust.  Because your Miata's existing
connecting pipe already has a bolt-on flange!
If you prefer a slightly louder exhaust note with a little bit of "Bark" for your Miata, you may want to consider the use of a Racing Beat's Sport Connecting Pipe.  The Sport Connecting Pipe is produced from a length of stainless steel tubing and does not include a presilencer.
