HOT TIP:

Want to put on two stripes, side-by-side, and keep them straight?

• First, make sure your Miata is cool and in the shade.
  

• Then place a strip of masking tape down the center of your Miata & make sure
  

  it's straight before proceeding.  Never apply masking tape in direct sunlight!

(BTW, 3" masking tape is just wide enough to space the "Race Stripes" so that

you won't have to cut around the Mazda badge on the nose, but it's also narrow

enough that the "Race Stripes" will lay down between the windshield washer

nozzles on the hood.)

(If you want a wider space between the "Race Stripes", lay down several pieces of

  narrow masking tape so that each strip is just touching at the edges.)

• Then, following the "Race Stripe" instructions, place the stripes on either side
  

  of the masking tape; laying them down along side the tape as a guide.

(Do not apply the "Race Stripe" on top of the masking tape.

  Make sure the "Race Stripe" is applied only to your Miata!)

• When both "Race Stripes" are in place, remove the masking tape.
